It’s a Proven Fact that the TSA steals iPods and iPhones from the Public; Why Do They Need to Do this?

The TSA has successfully convinced Congress to confiscate money from the Taxpayers of the United States Of America to buy them iPhones and iPods!

MacObserver is reporting:

The U.S. Transportation Security Administration is planning to spend US$3 million on Apple equipment including Macs, iPhones, iPads, and AppleTV units. The purchase will be part of a secure mobile device pilot program the agency is launching.

The TSA will be purchasing about 1,000 Macs and about 1,000 iPhones and iPads over a three year period. The agency proposed using Apple products for video and graphics production, forensic investigations, security testing, training, presentations, and iPhone app development.

Considering that people working for the TSA have been convicted of stealing iPhones and iPads from the public, we’re wondering why they need more! In fact some TSA Officers sew special hidden pockets in their jacket uniforms so they can quickly steal an iPad.

For example, the lovely woman pictured at the left is Betsey Pujol Salazar. She and her husband were charged with grand theft and dealing in stolen property–namely iPads stolen from the traveling public. In fact, her husband, TSA Officer Michael Pujol, would list the iPads on Craigslist while he was still on duty!

What will the TSA do with the new iPhones and iPads they want? They’d probably use it to list more stolen equipment on eBay and Craigslist. Another concern is that they will photograph travelers’ genitals from the Nude-O-Scope and post them on Facebook. Do you really want you or your wife or your child to appear nude on the Internet?

Write your congressman today and tell them that using taxpayer money to buy TSA Officers electronic toys is an abomination.
